Thank you so much to everyone who reached out after my last newsletter. I’m sending this follow up hot on its questioning heels because I want to express my gratitude and let you know that I’ll be responding to everyone who reached out with questions in the next couple weeks. There are some exciting and time-consuming things happening in my personal life that will be attended to first.
In the meantime, here are a few musings…and a collective tarot reading for October
We are all living our own timelines, it is a tiny miracle when they line up with the timing of others and a huge miracle when they line up with the timing of the Universe. Understanding that your season of urgency may be someone else’s season of rest is a key to finding some semblance of peace.
Some transitions take much more time than we want to give them, some happen almost overnight. Try to trust both. If you’re asking when the lesson in patience will be over, the answer is probably, “Not yet.”
It can be difficult to remove a lens once you’re used to looking through it. Human Design has been one of my primary lenses the last few years. I’m trying to have patience with myself as I find new ways of seeing and understanding. One thing I’m noticing is a knee-jerk desire to go deeper into astrology, which may be authentic intuition leading me there, or may just be the vacuum left by Human Design.
Coming home to tarot in the meantime, so here are our collective cards for October:
Embrace: 2 of Cups — Divine Affinity
What dualities can be united this month? Where can you honor what you are intuitively drawn to and work to integrate it into your life? What kinds of partnerships feel best to you? Can you cultivate more of that in your life? Is there a mother figure in your life? Do you serve as a mother figure for others? Consider those relationships carefully in the month ahead. (Side note that not all mothers are female and not all mothering is nurturing.)
Release: Ace of Swords — New Ideas
Do you feel the pressure to always come up with something new? Always be on the cutting edge? Always be up on the latest trends? Can you let that go for a minute? A day? A week? How about all month? Tall order, I know. But if an idea has been haunting you and you just don’t have the energy to make it into reality, that’s okay. Let it go. October is asking you to trust that the time will come. Honor the season you’re in rather than planning for the season ahead.
Everyone else as excited for spooky season as I am?
Trust your magic,
Clare
